Small Animal Surgeon

The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced veterinary surgeon to lead our surgical team in providing exceptional patient care and clinical training to residents and interns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a surgical service that provides primary patient care and clinical training to residents and interns.
- Participate in all general surgery service activities, including meetings, resident seminars, journal club, rounds, and other didactic teaching.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical training programs for residents and interns.
- Collaborate with other veterinarians and support staff to ensure seamless patient care and clinical operations.
Requirements:
- ACVS board-certified or board-eligible in small animal surgery.
- Completed a 3-year residency in small animal surgery or equivalent.
- Eligible for licensure to practice as a veterinary professional in New York State.
