Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and dedicated individual to assist our Community Life Director in the development, organization, coordination, and implementation of comprehensive community life/wellness services and programs that meet the needs and interests of each resident in a Memory Care Suite.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct, attend, and participate in orientation, training, in-service education activities, and staff meetings as assigned to maintain compliance in our Memory Care or Care Suites.
- Facilitate group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide a Community Life program daily, including evenings and weekends.
- Foster Family and Community support through the Community Program, including newsletters, networking, and activities that bring Family members and members of the community into the building.
- Contribute to the community efforts to maintain and/or improve quality of life and quality of care by participating in the following:
- Care conferences
- QAPI
- Other meetings as assigned by Community Life Director.
- Professional experience in programming and management in a Memory Care Environment of at least 2 years.
- Either:
- Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation or activities-related field.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Annual reviews with wage increases.
