Home Health Aide Opportunity

We're seeking compassionate and skilled individuals to provide exceptional care to our clients in the Queens area. As a home health aide with CareConnect, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, to patients in their homes.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate records.
  • Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families, promoting a sense of comfort and security.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
Requirements:
  • Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient confidentiality.
  • Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency.
  • Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
