Responsibilities
  • Visit assigned customers to provide exceptional service.
  • Prospect for new customers to expand our network.
  • Act as a public relations liaison for the dealership, ensuring a positive image.
  • Follow up on parts orders to ensure customers are satisfied.

Ordering Procedures
  • Communicate parts orders to parts advisors, advising on stock or emergency status.
  • Provide delivery instructions, with all same-day requests due by 8 am.
  • Verify delivery dates for non-stock items with customers before ordering.

Other Responsibilities
  • Submit call reports and time sheets.
  • Review special orders with the Outside Sales Manager and obtain approval.
  • Obtain approval for special pricing from the Outside Parts Sales Manager.
  • Attend training seminars when possible.
  • Coordinate service sales with service salespeople.
  • Notify the Outside Sales Manager of changes in customers' names, addresses, etc.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, communicate effectively with customers and vendors, and possess a valid driver's license with a driving record meeting Peterbilt of Atlanta's criteria. Commercial Driver Medical Certification is also required.
