SSTAR Nursing Team: A Commitment to Excellence
">At SSTAR, we are dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in our Inpatient Facility. We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a key member of the detoxification unit.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of our patients undergoing acute withdrawal. With a focus on medically monitored detoxification and stabilization, our team works collaboratively to alleviate physical and emotional dysfunctions resulting from substance use.
The RN/LPN will work closely with Recovery Specialists to provide comprehensive care, implementing specific detoxification protocols as designated by the Medical Director. Regular evaluations and observations will ensure timely interventions and effective treatment outcomes.
We offer a competitive $55,000 - $70,000 per year salary, commensurate with experience, plus benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, disability insurance, and paid time off.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts;
- Current certification in BLS/CPR;
- An understanding of detoxification regimes in substance abuse (training provided);
- Participation in required CEU programs;
- Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or NextGen (a plus);
- Familiarity and ability to work with diversity of cultural/socio-economic backgrounds;
- General knowledge of cultural backgrounds of patients to be served;
- An appreciation of and desire to be part of the treatment team dedicated to providing clients with optimal therapeutic care.
