About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide clinical support in our cardiology office. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills and experience in patient triage, medication counseling, and electronic medical record management.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical support in an office setting, collaborating with physicians to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Triage incoming calls, communicate lab results, and follow up with physicians as needed.
  • Counsel and educate patients and families on medication and treatment plans.
  • Facilitate medication refills through pharmacy calls and electronic submission.
  • Review patient records, testing reports, and correspondence to ensure accurate and timely communication with physicians.
  • Enter patient information into electronic medical records and associated databases.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of CCU experience required.
  • 2 years' experience in clinical exercise testing, including stress echo, nuclear stress testing, and pharmacologic stress testing.
  • 1 year of prior cardiology office RN support staff experience required.
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Rhode Island; BCLS and ACLS certification required.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
