Human Resources Generalist Role

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources generalist to join our HR Operations team in the United States, reporting directly to the Head of HR based in the UK.

This is an individual contributor role that requires collaboration with colleagues in different locations and stakeholders across the employee lifecycle. As a key member of the global People function, you will contribute to the implementation and ongoing improvement of our global HRIS system.

The successful candidate will have experience managing organisational and role changes, handling documentation and system updates, and providing timely enrolment to benefits plans and portals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining HR philosophies, policies and procedures aligned with the company's cultural and ESG ambitions
  • Providing responsive HR services, including advice, counsel, and documentation to support employees and managers
  • Managing employee relations, including case management of issues, proposing solutions, and sense-checking within the HR Operations team
  • Delivering education and training programs, such as annual reviews, new benefits provisions, and legislative updates

The ideal candidate will have relevant HR qualifications or equivalent industry experience, a broad knowledge of US employment laws, compensation, organisational planning, employee relations, and training and development.

Competencies required include customer focus, drive for results, influencing/negotiating, business acumen, and composure. The ability to build relationships over virtual channels and in person, emotional intelligence, and empathy are also essential.

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $105,000 per year, 30 days annual leave, 1 week work from any office, and hybrid/remote schedule. Additionally, we provide training and development opportunities, wellness resources, and award-winning consultancy rankings.
