Clinical Leader for Children's Mental Health Services

Counseling4Kids is seeking a skilled Clinical Supervisor to lead our team of mental health professionals in delivering exceptional care to children and families.
This role involves clinical and administrative supervision, hands-on coaching, direction, and guidance to clinical associates, licensed therapists, case managers, and/or practicum students. The successful candidate will assist supervisees with their day-to-day responsibilities, including clinical work, documentation, and teamwork.
The Clinical Supervisor II provides direct service tasks according to departmental needs, carries a small client caseload, and engages in multiple and various tasks encompassing the core areas of management/leadership, program development, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct clinical and administrative supervision of up to six post-master's unlicensed clinician Associates, two case managers, practicum students, contracted therapists, and/or licensed therapists.
- Provide weekly in-office group and individual clinical supervision.
- Monitor and evaluate supervisees' clinical skills and decision-making with assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Ensure clients' individualized mental health treatment plans are created, developed, implemented, and reviewed.
- Review and approve supervisees' progress notes, assessments, care plans, and other clinical documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Evaluate and respond to supervisees' performance with timely feedback, quarterly evaluations, and disciplinary action as needed.
Requirements:
- Licensed in California as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW for at least two years.
- Minimum two years recent experience supervising AMFTs, ACSWs, APCCs, or practicum students in community mental health settings.
- Eligible to provide clinical supervision to APCCs, ACSWs, and/or AMFTs per Board of Behavioral Sciences standards; supervision training requirements met.
- Clinical experience with children in field-based mental health services, in-home, or school settings.
- Advanced knowledge and skills in community-based mental health and trauma-informed care.
- Demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to the unique needs of a culturally diverse population.
- Experience with an EHR, preferably Exym.
- Ability to work in-office five days per week.
Salary Range: $87,000-$95,000
