About the Position

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is currently seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join their team on a 12-week travel assignment in Lexington, Kentucky.

Job Description and Responsibilities
  • Specialty: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist
  • Discipline: Allied Health Professional
  • Duration: 12 weeks

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and have a strong understanding of MRI technology.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Preparing patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the examination
  • Maintaining accurate records of patient information, test results, and any additional data relevant to the examination
  • Collaborating with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plans
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

  • One to three years of experience as an MRI Technologist, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
  • A strong foundation in MRI technology, including a deep understanding of imaging principles and techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people
  • A valid certification in MRI technology, such as ARRT (R)(M), and current licensure in the state of practice

  • An estimated annual salary of $85,000-$95,000, depending on experience and qualifications
