Job SummaryWe are seeking a qualified Classified Substitute to join our team. As a Classified Substitute, you will provide instructional support to students and teachers in a variety of settings. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in education and make a positive impact on the lives of students.
Responsibilities- Provide instructional support to students and teachers in a variety of settings
- Assist with lesson planning and implementation
- Support students with diverse needs and abilities
- Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents
- Meet the physical requirements necessary to perform assigned duties safely and effectively
- Associate of Arts Degree or 48 units from an accredited institution
- Demonstrated experience in using judgment in high-pressure situations
- Two years of instructional assistant experience, working with high-risk, adjudicated, or incarcerated youth (desirable)
- Bilingual (desirable)
- Valid First-Aid and CPR Certificates (may be required)
- Valid California Driver License and proof of automobile insurability
- Meet the physical requirements necessary to perform assigned duties safely and effectively
