IT Project Coordinator

GovCIO is currently hiring for a skilled professional to support program management, data analytics, and reporting activities at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
This role will be responsible for providing support within a team of analysts to government taskings, status reports, data calls, analytics and dashboard development, customer relationship management and various other programmatic needs.
This is a fully remote position that requires collaboration with multiple stakeholders, such as business, scrum teams, other project managers, to collect and compile information to ensure timely responses to requests and ad hoc assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, draft, and provide updates for project Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions.
- Coordinate with cross-discipline team members to ensure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
- Create project deliverables, including artifacts to ensure adherence to team compliance and quality standards.
- Use source data to assess the effectiveness of projects and business processes.
- Develop, gather and disseminate information and documentation among both business and technical customers in support of the Project Managers.
- Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution.
- Verify data and information and analyze it to suit the direction of a project.
- Track, forecast and report on project progress including metrics and challenges.
- Leverage advanced writing skills to translate complicated issues from multiple information sources into a clear point of view to create a compelling, concise, and well-written narrative.
- Bachelor's Degree (or commensurate experience)
- Experience in creating and maintaining documents, providing meeting support (e.g., scheduling, preparing materials, facilitating, documenting, and distributing minutes, etc.).
- Strong understanding in project management and data analysis.
- Be flexible to change direction on a moment's notice while also tracking/executing tasks in progress.
- Possess clear understanding of the activities, roles, and responsibilities on large scale IT projects.

Compensation:
The posted pay range reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
