About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Motorola Solutions as a Procurement Category Manager, focusing on strategic sourcing and category management with a strong emphasis on software expertise. As a key member of the Procurement team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth, improving profitability, and supporting innovative solution development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute long-term agreements through formal RFx methodologies, ensuring high-quality, innovative, and cost-effective solutions.
• Analyze spend data and industry dynamics to identify, prioritize, and launch sourcing initiatives, driving value and savings opportunities.
• Establish positive relationships across business units to ensure active and early participation in supplier-related matters, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Lead negotiations in both financial and business matters, including commercial terms and risk mitigation for strategic contracts, ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, budgets, and current gaps and challenges to develop best strategic sourcing strategies, driving business success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Procurement, Category Management, or Supply Chain Management, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Strong experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to interact with and present up to Director/VP levels.
• Core analytic skills to independently dive into unclear areas and make sense of them, with financial modeling experience being an asset.
