Job Overview

The Phoenix Senior Living community is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Elderly Care Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care and support to seniors in an assisted living and memory care environment. As a Resident Care Associate, you will be responsible for providing hands-on care, physical and emotional support to residents, while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Personalized Service Plans (PSPs) to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Provide assistance with daily living activities (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Initiate and assign activities that promote socialization, engagement, and overall well-being.
  • Monitor resident rooms and common areas for cleanliness and take corrective action as needed.
  • Respond promptly to resident call bells and security system alerts.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A high school education or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with elderly or disabled individuals.
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
