Job Overview

This is a PRN position, offering 12-hour shifts and night shifts. You will work closely with RNs and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care. Your role will involve assessing patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing treatment programs directed by Health Care Practitioners.

Responsibilities
  1. Assess patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions in both the Health Care Unit and housing units, contributing to individualized treatment planning and consulting with RNs and staff as needed.
  2. Implement treatment programs directed by Health Care Practitioners, administering medications, including IV therapy (if certified), and performing diagnostic tests according to established protocols and procedures.
  3. Collaborate in controlled substance counts at the beginning of each shift, adhering to safety techniques, procedures, and standard precautions while responding to codes or health emergencies within standard guidelines.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a solid background in nursing principles and practices. The following requirements must be met:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience.
  • Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
