Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker for a contracted position in the Savage, MN area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work and experience working with students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct Counseling Services: Provide individualized counseling and intervention services to students in need, fostering an environment conducive to their well-being and academic success.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify students' unique needs, develop targeted intervention plans, and monitor progress over time.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and fellow educational professionals to devise and implement effective strategies that promote students' overall welfare and educational attainment.
  • Group Sessions and Workshops: Organize and facilitate group sessions, workshops, and presentations covering a range of topics, including bullying prevention, conflict resolution, and mental health awareness, to foster a supportive and inclusive school community.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous and confidential records of student interactions, progress notes, and case documentation in adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work (School-Based preferred)
