About the Role: EnviroScience, Inc. is seeking a skilled Civil CAD Technician to join our team. As a key member of our geospatial technology team, you will be responsible for creating and managing complex 2D and 3D designs using Autodesk Civil 3D.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create base drawings, alignments, profiles, cross sections, and assembly corridors for stream design using Civil 3D
  • Generate layouts, figures, details, and plan sheet set-ups for construction drawings
  • Produce topographic surfaces from survey data and create point groups, feature lines, and break lines
  • Review drawings and translate design mark-ups into electronic files
  • Utilize Civil 3D to perform routine calculations, including distance, area, volume, and other quantities for construction
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of coordinate systems, cartographic layout, and design techniques

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent technical experience in civil engineering or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a civil engineering environment with proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects efficiently

Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
