About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator - IT to join our team at XperNet Services, a leader in small business and local government network systems management.

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the networking platform, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Troubleshoot complex network and system issues to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Monitor active network and server infrastructure to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment to prevent technical disruptions.
  • Administer robust network security measures to safeguard against system interruptions or breaches.
  • Develop and implement efficient data backup and restoration procedures to ensure business-critical data is protected.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a network or systems administrator, with a strong background in TCP/IP and data protocols.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
