Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Master Metalworker to join our team at Production Castings Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating high-tech machines in a state-of-the-art aluminum and zinc die casting environment.
About the Role:
- Operate complex machinery, including Wheelabrator and Burnishing machines, to finish metal parts with precision and quality.
- Expertly operate trim presses in various modes, ensuring efficient production and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Closely inspect finished parts to guarantee they meet our exacting quality standards.
- Maintain and perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the finishing process, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
- Contribute to a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is highly valued.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, as well as maintain accurate records of work completed.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
- Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds on a consistent basis.
