Master Metalworker

We are seeking a skilled Master Metalworker to join our team at Production Castings Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating high-tech machines in a state-of-the-art aluminum and zinc die casting environment.

About the Role:

• Operate complex machinery, including Wheelabrator and Burnishing machines, to finish metal parts with precision and quality.
• Expertly operate trim presses in various modes, ensuring efficient production and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Closely inspect finished parts to guarantee they meet our exacting quality standards.
• Maintain and perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the finishing process, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
• Contribute to a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is highly valued.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, as well as maintain accurate records of work completed.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds on a consistent basis.
