At GPAC, we are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Project Manager to lead our Water Resources Group. As a key member of our team, you will plan and manage projects related to water treatment plants, distribution systems, wastewater treatment facilities, and other infrastructure projects.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced project manager to join our team and drive success in the water resources sector. With over 10 years of experience and 4+ years of supervisory experience, you will bring a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of assigned projects, including scheduling, budgets, and resource allocation;
  • Directly supervise associates and ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively;
  • Mentor and develop staff performance in accordance with project goals and company expectations;
  • Review, mentor, develop, and manage staff performance in accordance with project and company goals and expectations;
  • Communicate regularly with clients on project status and ensure their satisfaction with the project deliverables;
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients, regulatory agencies, and other outside groups;
  • Make formal presentations to clients, stakeholders, the public, and regulatory agencies;
  • Determine project requirements, budget, deliverables, and scope based upon client dialogue and project understanding;
  • Identify potential funding sources and risks, and monitor/mitigate risk throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Suggest and implement associate programs that foster a positive work environment and help develop each associate to their fullest potential;
  • Banish clichés like "Join Our Team" or similar, avoiding clickbait language to urge candidates to apply quickly.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Landscape Architecture, Surveying, Planning, or a related field;
  • Certifications: PE, RLA, PS, AICP, or other relevant certification;
  • 10+ years of experience, with 4+ years of supervisory experience;
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, creative thinking, and presentation skills;
  • Technical skills: proficiency in MS Office, computer-aided design, and other industry-based software required.
Salary Range

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
