Dietitian Nutritionist II

Sodexo, the world's leading private employer of Registered Dietitians, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dietitian Nutritionist II to join their clinical nutrition team at UNC Health Johnston Clayton Facility. As a key member of the team, you will provide comprehensive nutrition assessments and interventions, education, and counseling to patients and their families, while working closely with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough nutrition assessments and reassessments, developing personalized plans to support patient health and well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide education and counseling on nutrition-related topics, promoting healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention.
- Develop and implement nutrition support plans, ensuring seamless integration with existing care protocols.
- Serve as a preceptor for dietetic interns, sharing expertise and knowledge to foster professional growth.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Master's degree in Nutrition or related field, with completion of required coursework and supervised practice.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) credentials, with eligibility for Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) registration.
- State licensure and certification as required by practice location.
- 3+ years of experience in clinical nutrition, with a strong background in nutrition assessment, intervention, and education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
