At Black Angus Steakhouse LLC, we're seeking a skilled Prep Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you'll assist in preparing dishes, ensuring a Memorable Dining Experience for our Guests.
Responsibilities include:
- Reading and following recipes
- Preparing cooking ingredients by washing and chopping
- Completing routine preparation of food according to volume and night prep sheets
- Cleaning and maintaining your prep schedule according to daily and weekly schedules
- Performing miscellaneous tasks as requested by your Chef, Sous, Lead or Manager
- Ensuring all food and other items are properly labeled and stored
- Using knives and kitchen equipment while following all safety rules
- Ensuring a safe environment for Guests and Employees
- Performing these duties with a friendly, professional manner
- Being passionate about working under pressure, in a fast-paced, team environment
- Being available on ALL Holidays
- Standing 90% of the time and carrying up to 75 lbs
- Remaining patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure
