We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our pediatric critical care team at Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center. Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill children, including those requiring mechanical ventilation, ECMO, and CRRT. They will also have the opportunity to participate in bone marrow transplants and manage various medical conditions. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position working varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate will have experience working in pediatric critical care, with a strong understanding of relevant medical procedures and protocols. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals, families, and patients.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a retirement savings plan. Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of employment
  • National Certification in the State of employment or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in the State of employment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
