Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Associate at Walgreens, you will be responsible for delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. This role involves registering sales on assigned cash registers, providing customers with courteous, friendly, and efficient checkout service, and engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items.
• Register customer purchases on assigned cash registers, collect cash, and distribute change as requested; process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records.
• Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by the store manager or communicated by the shift leader.
• Implement Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise.
• Complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Assist with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures.
• Assist in stock rotation using the first in, first out method and restock outs.
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine.
• Suggestively sell promotional photo products.
• Assume web pick-up responsibilities, monitor orders, fill orders, and deliver orders to customers as they arrive at the store.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
