Job Summary:

At Mercury Financial Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and supporting alerts from various security tools, identifying and containing security incidents, and developing response procedures to mitigate potential threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and support alerts from security tools such as PagerDuty, Splunk, Imperva, PhishER, hCaptcha, JupiterOne, and AWS infrastructure
• Identify and contain security incidents, and develop response procedures to mitigate potential threats
• Identify security flaws and vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to remediate them
• Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize security risks
• Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, and provide recommendations for improving our security posture

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience working with systems deployed on AWS
• 6+ years of technical experience in Incident Management for AWS Cloud solutions
• 2+ years of experience with network security, intrusion detection, and response, security incident management (SIEM)
• 2+ years of experience using Splunk for Incident Management and processes supported by Identity Management, Phishing handling, On-Call systems, End point Detection and response, AWS cloud security tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Java, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience with SAST, DAST, SCA, SBOM, Image Scanning, IaC, Threat Modeling, PenTesting, and CSA
• AWS Certified Security certification or an akin certification
