We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Property Appraiser to join our team in Mecklenburg County. This is an exciting opportunity for you to utilize your expertise and passion for property appraisal to make a meaningful impact.

About the Role

This senior-level position involves performing complex commercial appraisals, measuring and listing large commercial properties, and defending ad valorem values before the Board and some cases to the NC Property Tax Commission. You will also establish property grades and characteristics for revaluation, assist with cost, market, and income studies for revaluation, and provide guidance to staff.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial property appraisal or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of appraisal methods, including sales comparison, income approach, and cost approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
