Cardiac Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Care Specialist to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. As an integral member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services.
About the RoleThe Registered Nurse will work in our Heart Failure Stroke Unit, providing care to patients with cardiac conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut.
- BLS certification or equivalent.
- NIHSS certification or equivalent.
- Experience working in a cardiac care setting preferred.
This is a full-time position that requires standing for prolonged periods, frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, twisting, and lifting. You may be exposed to infectious diseases and physical, mental, and emotional illness.
CompensationThe estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
