Travel Caregiving Professional with Flexible Schedules

The Good Samaritan Society seeks a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate care and support to our residents. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in various locations within a 150-mile radius of your permanent address, enjoying flexibility in your schedule and autonomy in your work.
We offer a competitive salary range of $17.00-$25.50 per hour, plus additional compensation for working shifts on weekends, evenings, or nights. Our benefits package includes health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, work-life balance benefits, and a generous time-off package.
About the JobAs a Travel Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents. This may include assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and undressing, as well as obtaining and recording vital signs, providing psychosocial support, and other personal care services.
You will also be expected to document resident interactions and outcomes, communicate changing conditions and care-related concerns to the charge nurse, and participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.
Requirements- A minimum age of 16 years old.
- A High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED).
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is preferred, but not required.
- A valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
- Satisfactory completion of yearly department-specific competency testing and maintenance of a record of continuing education credits for each year.
