Divisional Services Manager for Adults

We are seeking a highly skilled Divisional Services Manager for Adults to join our team at Mecklenburg County. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead and manage programs and services that address the changing demands and needs of seniors and adults with disabilities.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of county services, including Adult Social Work, Community Social Work, and Guardianship programs. This will involve providing leadership for two managers and the Division Operations Leadership team, as well as ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local policies and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human services, excellent leadership and management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with oversight, activities, and direction for implementation of day-to-day core Adult Social Work, Community Social Work, and Guardianship programs and services.
- Support staff and assist with program effectiveness evaluations.
- Manage the day-to-day functions of service delivery to clients and their caregivers.
- Prioritize resource allocation to meet service needs and ensure alignment with SFA Division budget.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of five years' experience in management/supervisory roles within human services.
- A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Gerontology, or a related field.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

$73,000 - $93,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
