Executive Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at NEXDINE Hospitality. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food production.
- Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu items and culinary concepts.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for our guests.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality control.
