Job Title: Fleet Technician

At GreenEarth Southeast, we are seeking a skilled Fleet Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and service of various types of small engine equipment, heavy equipment, and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform intermediate to skilled tasks in maintaining and repairing small engine equipment and large equipment
  • Read and interpret manufacturer operating manuals and service specifications to complete repair and maintenance tasks
  • Test, diagnose, and repair large equipment to include diesel powered automobiles, tractors, dump trucks, excavators, heavy trucks, and other heavy construction equipment
  • Complete all repairs to high standards of safety and quality
  • Schedule and conduct regular preventative maintenance inspection and repairs on any/all company equipment
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of repair and maintenance experience
  • Experience with maintenance welding preferred
Working Conditions:

Indoor and outdoor conditions, extended work hours during peak seasons, and substantial physical activity performing strenuous activities of a productive and technical nature.
