Trademark Docket Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Trademark Docket Clerk to join our team at SourcePro Search, LLC. This is a hybrid remote work opportunity that offers a unique blend of challenge and flexibility.

• Docket Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of trademark applications, registrations, and deadlines in our CPi database.
• Correspondence Review: Scrutinize incoming correspondence from the USPTO, foreign associates, attorneys, and paralegals to ensure essential docketing information is captured.
• Reporting and Communication: Prepare comprehensive docket and status reports for distribution to attorneys and clients as needed.
• Deadline Monitoring: Closely track deadlines and follow up with attorneys and paralegals to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Record Keeping: Update records with changes in title, owner, address, and counsel as necessary.
• Trademark Maintenance: Support paralegals with trademark maintenance tasks, including renewals, use filings, and other administrative duties.
• Written Communications: Prepare written communications to foreign associates, attorneys, and clients regarding the prosecution and maintenance of domestic and foreign trademark applications and registrations.
• Research and Support: Assist with diligence searches, research assignments, and administrative projects, and prepare reports as needed.
• Documentation Coordination: Coordinate documentation for the prosecution or defense of contested matters worldwide.

• Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college is preferred.
• Experience: 3+ years of law firm experience is preferred.
• Skills: Must be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Microsoft software, particularly Excel, is preferred.
• Teamwork: Enjoy working collaboratively with a team.
