Job Summary:

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our Inpatient Psychiatry team. As a Group Psychotherapy Specialist, you will provide high-quality care to patients in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement group therapy plans of care for patients in the hospital.
  • Collaborate with nursing and other clinical staff to ensure effective patient care.
  • Participate in unit Rounds and contribute to development of post-treatment aftercare plans.
  • Document clinical encounters in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in a counseling field.
  • Strong preference for experience in Group Therapy and training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
  • At least 3 years direct clinical experience post licensure in an acute or sub-acute mental health setting.
