Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Medical Air Transportation Specialist to join our team at Med-Trans. As a leader in air medical care, we provide compassionate and quality medical services primarily in emergency and patient relocation.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $98,108 - $107,920 per year, including a 15% geo modifier. Additionally, you can expect a 5K IFR stipend, 15K sign-on bonus, and a 40K retention bonus after 3 years of service.

Job Responsibilities

As a Medical Air Transportation Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with medical experts to transport patients safely and efficiently
  • Maintaining aircraft readiness and cleanliness
  • Accurate record-keeping and documentation
  • Effective communication with dispatch, flight crews, and facilities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate
  • A helicopter instrument rating
  • A current FAA Class II medical certificate
  • A minimum of 2,000 total flight hours
  • 1,500 hours of helicopter flying experience
  • 1,000 hours of helicopter pilot-in-command experience
  • 1,000 hours of turbine helicopter experience
  • 200 hours of helicopter night flight experience
  • 200 hours of instrument flight experience
