Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Machinist III to join our team at HEICO. As a key member of our coatings department, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex machinery, ensuring high-quality coatings and finishes for our aerospace clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Learn and understand the proper operation of various machines, including lathes and mills, to produce high-quality coatings and finishes.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of assigned equipment, reporting any issues or problems to management.
  • Quality Control: Check tolerances of parts using precision instruments, such as C-mics, Tri-mics, and calipers, to ensure compliance with ACI procedures and shop work instructions.
  • Documentation: Accurately document all work, including clocking parts to locations and maintaining required paperwork.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of directly related experience in aerospace coatings or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, including Solidworks, and ability to read blueprints.
  • Language: Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working Conditions

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 80 pounds. The work environment is moderate noise levels, with occasional exposure to dust and chemicals.
