Job Overview

Summit Fire Protection, a subsidiary of Summit Companies, is seeking a highly skilled Fire Extinguisher and Pre-Engineered Systems Technician to join our team in Fargo, North Dakota. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing inspections and service on various fire protection equipment, including portable fire extinguishers, kitchen fire suppression systems, and emergency lighting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance on fire protection equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Seek out additional sales and service opportunities within existing customer locations.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers to ensure customer retention.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical aptitude and basic hand tool knowledge.
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs+, safely use ladders, work overhead, and work in tight spaces.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.
