Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing advanced physical therapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment, and education. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing treatment plans for complex cases and a strong ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with mechanical, physiological, and developmental impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient, including the use of advanced modalities and equipment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care and ensure seamless transitions between hospital and community settings.
  • Supervise and train physical therapy interns, assistants, and aides to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities, including chart reviews, workflow studies, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
  • Two years of progressively responsible experience in physical therapy, with a focus on complex cases and advanced treatment modalities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
