Senior Systems Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Managed Solution LLC. As a key member of our Professional Services department, you will be responsible for designing and delivering scopes of work related to client IT environments with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Modern Workplace and Automation technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud computing, migration strategies, and infrastructure design. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their business objectives. Your expertise in implementing complex technology solutions, including Azure, AWS, Exchange, Active Directory, and PowerShell, will be invaluable in helping our clients achieve their goals.

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers, developing training programs, and contributing to the development of best practices within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver scopes of work related to client IT environments with a focus on Microsoft Modern Workplace and Automation technologies.
  • Implement complex technology solutions, including Azure, AWS, Exchange, Active Directory, and PowerShell.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of best practices within our organization.
  • Develop training programs and materials to support the growth and development of our team.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, plus a minimum of 8 years' experience providing engineering within a Microsoft environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a consultative capacity at a systems integrator/MSP/other IT vendor, including experience in presales, project scoping, and project implementation.
  • High levels of project ownership and individual accountability in a results-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated success as a project lead.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and innovation.
  • Demonstrated commitment to strong documentation and repeatable standards.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
Benefits:
  • $110,000 - $150,000 per year (base wage range)
