We are seeking an experienced Senior Repair Station Assembler to join our team. The successful candidate will have advanced soldering and rework skills, as well as the ability to train others in processes and practices.
About the Role
The Senior Repair Station Assembler will be responsible for performing advanced assembly and rework assignments, working with complex assemblies, and training other technicians. This is a flexible role that requires the ability to work across multiple cells.
Responsibilities
- Advanced Soldering and Rework: Perform lead and lead-free soldering, component removal, and wire splicing and crimping.
- Complex Assembly: Work on high-power, flight-critical, and APC products.
- Training and Development: Train other technicians in processes and practices.
- Setup and Adjustment: Make setups and adjustments holding tolerances to technical specifications.
- Collaboration: Interact with development and manufacturing engineering personnel as needed.
- Developmental Assembly: Work from rough schematics, blueprints, and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components.
Requirements
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; typically 3+ years of direct experience related to the essential functions of this job.
- Certifications: ESD, FOD, and Uniform Torqueing Certification required; IPC-A-610, AES Rework Certification, PRB Certification, AES Flight Critical Certification, IPC 7711, and IPC 7721 required.
