Automotive Integration Specialist

The Automotive Integrator Representative role at Amphenol TPC Wire & Cable involves working closely with OEM integrators to specify differentiated solutions into new automotive systems and lines in the early design phase. This position requires guiding product and capabilities development according to customer and market needs, ultimately securing high-value-add, non-commodity market share.
Key Responsibilities:- Own all OEM automotive integrator projects supporting defined automaker logos.
- Independently assess the automotive integrator landscape for defined logos and map the ecosystem to identify key integrator target customers.
- Drive pre-sales technical discussions, solution development, proposal, presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations, as well as ongoing program management.
- Collaborate with direct managers and Strategic Account Managers on opportunities to drive growth and support key business strategies.
- Maintain comprehensive reporting of all integrator projects, including upcoming, existing, and historical projects, overall potential value, targeted or won solutions/products, and ecosystem mapping.
- Develop strong customer relationships with key engineers/technical staff, procurement staff, and decision-makers.
- Manage highly consultative, complex sales cycles, articulating the value our solutions bring to customers.
- Negotiate and close business to meet quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain up-to-date pipeline reporting in Salesforce CRM.
- Forecast future revenue, business development opportunities, and market trends.
- Collaborate with field sales representatives and Automotive SAMs to drive projects, share market knowledge, contacts, and coordinate product specification to add differentiated value to the automotive segment and drive revenue growth beyond market performance.
Requirements:
- Automotive industry experience is necessary for this role.
- 5+ years outside sales experience.
- Proven record of accomplishment of meeting and exceeding sales objectives.
- Track record of independent strategic plan development and implementation.
- Effective communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated success selling custom engineered solutions in a commodity market.
- Ability to adapt to change.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial systems, or related degree (or equivalent experience).
- Industrial wire and cable sales experience.
- Experience selling OEM automotive integrator solutions to automaker logos.
