About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Script Care LTD. As a vital member of our pharmacy division, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of prescription medications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prescription Verification and Dispensing:
    • Accurately review and verify prescription orders for accuracy and appropriateness, upholding unwavering integrity.
    • Dispense prescription medications with compassion, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
    • Maintain a strong focus on medication safety, preventing errors, and addressing any potential issues promptly.
  • Patient Counseling:
    • Provide dedicated counseling to patients regarding their medications, including dosage instructions, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
    • Address patients' questions with empathy and compassion, offering guidance on medication adherence and lifestyle modifications.
  • Medication Management:
    • Manage medication inventory with resourcefulness, including ordering, receiving, and restocking.
    • Monitor medication storage conditions to ensure stability and compliance with regulations.
    • Conduct routine inspections and quality checks to maintain the highest standards of care.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Stay up-to-date with federal and state pharmacy laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
    • Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
    • Maintain accurate records of all prescription transactions and required documentation.
  • Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with healthcare providers and prescribers to resolve medication-related issues.
    • Coordinate with pharmacy technicians and support staff to streamline workflow and maintain efficiency.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of pharmacy quality improvement initiatives through teamwork.
  • Customer Service:
    • Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
    • Maintain a patient-centric approach, ensuring a positive patient experience with each interaction.
  • Continuing Education:
    • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with emerging pharmaceutical trends and therapies.
    • Attend training sessions, conferences, and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Pharm. D. degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
  • Valid licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the state of Texas.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both internally and externally.
  • Able to support multiple tasks, initiative, and responsibilities simultaneously.
