LanceSoft is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Fresno, California. This travel position offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading healthcare organization and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Job Summary:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials. This includes preparing radiopharmaceuticals, administering them to patients, and using imaging devices to record the distribution within a patient's body. The successful candidate will work closely with a Nuclear Medicine Physician to provide optimal exams and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine nuclear medicine procedures, including preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals
  • Use imaging devices to record the distribution of radiopharmaceuticals within the patient's body
  • Work closely with the Nuclear Medicine Physician to ensure optimal exam and procedure outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and procedure details
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement activities to enhance departmental performance

Requirements:

  • 2 years of post-program graduate experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist required
  • BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
  • CTNM - State of California Certified Tech Nuclear Medicine all scopes including venipuncture required
  • NMTCB(CNMT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • ARRT(N) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology Additional post-primary advanced certification preferred:​ARRT(CT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Computed Tomography NMTCB(PET) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Positron Emission Tomography NMTCB(NCT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Nuclear Cardiology Technologist
