Nurse Specialist

As a Registered Nurse at Emerson Hospital, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in our ICU/CCU department. Reporting to the Nursing Director, you will utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive care to patients served in the Special Care Department.
Nursing care is provided in accordance with the stated philosophy and standards established by the Nursing Service Department, regulatory agencies, and professional organizations. You will be accountable for the safety of nursing care you deliver or supervise.
The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree from a professional accredited nursing school and experience in medical-surgical nursing, with ICU/CCU experience preferred. You must be currently licensed to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and possess BLS and ACLS certifications.
Key skills for this role include basic nursing skills, communication skills, assessment skills, critical thinking skills, organizational skills, and excellent customer service skills. You will also need to be proficient in computer skills and able to read, write, and communicate in English.
