About the Role

As a key member of our nursing team, you will provide high-quality patient care in accordance with established policies and protocols at Henry Ford Macomb - Oakland Hospitals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patients' conditions, document progress, and communicate relevant information to the healthcare team as needed.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator for all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
  • Execute physician and nursing orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess and coordinate patients' discharge planning needs.
Education and Experience

To be considered for this role, you must possess a diploma from an accredited school of nursing or hold required professional licensure at the time of hire. We welcome applicants with various levels of experience, including those who are just starting their nursing career.

Certifications and Licensures

We require that all candidates obtain BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross certifications are accepted. Additionally, registered nurses must hold credentialed licensure from the Michigan Board of Nursing prior to their start date.

Work Environment

This position is located in the Extended Care Unit at Henry Ford Warren Hospital, where you will work alongside a dynamic team to deliver exceptional patient care. Our day shift offers a fast-paced and rewarding environment that is perfect for individuals who thrive in a collaborative setting.

Estimated Salary Range: $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
