Job OverviewNovant Health - Agency - Reddot is seeking a PRN Certified Medical Assistant to perform various office and clinical duties in our Mooresville location. The ideal candidate will work directly with healthcare practice staff to collect test samples, maintain patient records, explain common medical procedures to patients and assist in basic examinations.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
  • Assist healthcare providers with routine exams, lab tests, and minor surgical procedures.
  • Prepare patients for exams and treatments by explaining procedures, positioning equipment, and ensuring comfort and safety.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program preferred.
  • Current certification as a CMA, RMA, or CCMA, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Previous experience in a medical office setting, preferred.
  • Ability to complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.

Estimated salary: $35,000 - $50,000 per year.
