Job Summary

The Server is a key member of our restaurant team, responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality to our guests. This role requires a genuine passion for providing memorable experiences, combined with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized service to guests, establishing emotional connections and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting cooperation and commitment to achieve goals.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and team members, resolving issues and problems in a professional manner.
  • Determine guests' needs, making recommendations and offering enhancements to their dining experience.
  • Execute beverage tray service, answering guest questions and providing information about food and beverage offerings.
  • Adhere to all alcohol awareness procedures, handling guest complaints professionally and alerting a manager as needed.
  • Process payments and handle cash accurately, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Communicate with managers and hosts regarding table availability and key updates.
  • Follow up with guests to ensure great guest satisfaction, demonstrating a professional and gracious demeanor at all times.
  • Perform all opening, running, and closing duties accurately, adapting to changing business needs and conditions.

Requirements

Education and Experience

High School diploma or equivalent required; previous hospitality experience preferred. Ability to communicate in English (speak, read, and write). Experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system a plus.

Other Requirements

Must meet local, legal minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages; coordination skills that allow proper pouring and carrying of several drinks and plates at the same time.
