Senior Automotive Service Technician

At CarMax, our Automotive Technicians are the backbone of our operations, ensuring every vehicle meets our high standards. As a Senior Automotive Service Technician, you will play a vital role in diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning vehicles to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. You will work collaboratively with other technicians to troubleshoot complex issues and ensure seamless execution of repairs.
As a seasoned professional, you will have extensive knowledge of engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, heating and air conditioning systems, and possess ASE certifications (A1-A8) for domestic and foreign vehicles.
What We Offer- A competitive estimated salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements- Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, heating and air conditioning.
- Knowledge of health and safety compliance.
- Manual dexterity and physical stamina to lift heavy objects and walk/stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- ASE certifications (A1-A8) for domestic and foreign vehicles (where required by State/Local law).
