Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly skilled and motivated COTA to work with our clients in a variety of settings. As a COTA, you will work closely with occupational therapists to develop and implement treatment plans that help patients achieve their goals.
Responsibilities- Administer treatment to patients as a licensed Occupational Therapist Assistant in accordance with the treatment plan and within established legal guidelines.
- Educate patients, other health professionals, and family members regarding occupational therapy on an on-going basis.
- Observe and evaluate patient responses during treatment, document and report findings to Occupational Therapist.
- Follow hospital safety rules and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- One to three years' experience as a COTA preferred.
- Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.
- Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
- Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), Pushing, Pulling, Bending.
