Aquatic Educator

The YMCA of the Roses is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Aquatic Educator to join our team. This role will be responsible for instructing swimming lessons to individuals of all ages, from beginner to advanced levels.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, patience, and a passion for teaching. They must also possess strong knowledge of swimming techniques and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct swimming lessons as assigned in accordance with YMCA guidelines
- Develop positive relationships with program participants and parents/caregivers
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and other relevant information
- Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification
- State police clearance, child abuse clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance
- Mandated Reporter Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience teaching swim lessons
Salary and Benefits:
