Job Description:
A Regional Sales Manager is needed to join our team in Boston. This experienced professional will identify new business opportunities, establish relationships with key customer accounts, and drive profitable sales volumes across major industrial markets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals in the metal component industry.
- Maintain a weekly sales log of activities and distribute it to top management.
- Monitor customer quotes through the Estimating Department to ensure timely issuance and proper follow-up.
- Perform cold calling, qualify leads, and coordinate program/project planning between customers and corporate personnel.
- Assist in strategic marketing plans by assessing growth opportunities, conducting competitive analysis, and conveying customer feedback to management.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and conduct on-site customer visits.
- Deliver on agreed-upon sales quotas and targets.
- Analyze data to inform business decisions and negotiate effectively.
- Work independently with a high sense of urgency, take initiative, and display a positive attitude.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in sales/business development in the metal component industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, ERP, and CRM systems.
- Strong presentation, customer service, and territory management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed annual revenue goals.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, valid driver's license, and reliable transportation.
Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year based on location and industry standards.
