  • Collaborate with teachers to develop lesson plans and schedule in-service training.
  • Foster strong partnerships with families and serve as a role model for positive family relationships.
  • Ensure timely completion of developmental screenings and maintain child observation records.
  • Coordinate programmatic supports for children with special needs or individualized education plans.
  • Manage training and classroom supply budgets responsibly.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a New York State Teaching Certification in Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 2) or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of teaching experience; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
  • Experience working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs.
  • Strong administrative, communication, and computer skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Commitment to professional development for oneself and staff.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid, along with successful background clearances.

Work Environment:

  • Full-time position
  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • No weekends
  • No Health Insurance for the first 6 months
